Overview
Born Raymond Ian Burns, The Captain is a founding member whose return in 1996 anchors the modern-era Damned lineup. Wikipedia+1
Before joining The Damned, he was originally a member of the Johnny Moped band, along with Chrissie Hynde, who later went on to front The Pretenders.
Captain Sensible is also a member of Dead Men Walking, a supergroup featuring Mike Peters (The Alarm), Kirk Brandon (Theatre of Hate & Spear of Destiny), and Slim Jim Phantom (The Stray Cats). He is also in the Sensible Grey Cells with fellow Damned bandmate Paul Gray.
