Born Christopher John Millar, Rat Scabies played for Tor and London SS. The London SS, a who’s who of various members of punk rock society at different intervals. Rat and Brian James, together, left London SS and formed The Damned with Dave Vanian.
London SS had other members join and leave, including Mick Jones, who left to start The Clash with Paul Simonon and Joe Strummer, as well as Tony James and Billy Idol, who went on to form Generation X.
